Protection from suicide

If I or someone I know is in danger of committing suicide, I know where to go to stop it from happening. I can call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-TALK(8255). They can give me advice with stopping the suicide. They can also help me make better decisions and tell me how to solve my problems another way. I can also get help from the Suicide Awareness Voices of Education or SAVE. Volunteers from SAVE will come and teach me the bad things suicide does. I can learn how to find a way to avoid depression and if I get depressed, how to cure it. Anyone can go to these people too. They will do their best to make sure that they help the person at risk and save a life.

My resorces for suicide and depression

If someone I knew was thinking of suicide or coming to me with depression. I would tell my parents if that doesn't work I would call my therapist for advice on the situation or I would try to talk them out of anything and refer them to a suicide hot line.
