Specifically sections 25.B and 25.C which should clear up any guidelines regarding inappropriate language (including swearing) and disrespect to fellow students or staff members.

Reflecting on different types of violence (sexual, bullying, gangs, etc), what are the social pressures that keep people from telling others about dangerous situations that they are currently involved in or have been involved with in the past?

sexual abuse to children

it is estimated that at least two out of every ten girls and one out of every ten boys are sexually abused by the end of their 13th year. To protect all children, we first need to learn the facts.Did you know that most children who are sexually abused, are abused by a family member or close friend? Did you know that "stranger danger," by comparison, is quite rare.

What does everyone think of health class so far?
I thought this class was going to be a lot different. I thought we would be doing sex Ed and exercises, but so far we are just looking up thinks on the internet.

LMA sexual violence/sexual harassment & or bullying policys

Sexual harassment policy states that if it is committed you will be dealt with by the law and the school.
Violence/bullying (we asked the Principal.) Its a down to the principle office with a decided punishment.

But young people in general are more likely to be gamers — 90 percent of boys and 40 percent of girls play. The overwhelming majority of kids who play do NOT commit antisocial acts. According to a 2001 U.S. Surgeon General's report, the strongest risk factors for school shootings centered on mental stability and the quality of home life, not media exposure. The moral panic over violent video games is doubly harmful. It has led adult authorities to be more suspicious and hostile to many kids who already feel cut off from the system. It also misdirects energy away from eliminating the actual causes of youth violence and allows problems to continue to fester.
