it is estimated that at least two out of every ten girls and one out of every ten boys are sexually abused by the end of their 13th year. To protect all children, we first need to learn the facts.Did you know that most children who are sexually abused, are abused by a family member or close friend? Did you know that "stranger danger," by comparison, is quite rare.
Where did you get this information at? If these facts are true we need to do something about it. No child under 13 should have to worry about any kind of abuse.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know that kids would be abused by family members. We should make sure that no one gets abused, especially if they are under 13.
ReplyDeleteYou all have an excellent point!! I do not doubt the accuracy of this statistic, but it is important to have it linked to the information. There may also be information from that source on groups or projects that are working to address this issue head on!
ReplyDeleteThis i find is unfortunately
ReplyDeletetrue. Due to all we've been hearing in class. I would say it happens fairly often but most people are to afraid to report it due to the fact some of the people who do these terrible things carry weapons, make men look bad from a publicly social perspective. Although it is true some men are sick in the head i believe it is wrong to judge people based on their sex because not all males are like this
when i found this i was really ticked off and wanted to do something about it
ReplyDeleteYou all have excellent points! I realize I am not male, but I would be incensed if anyone accused you all of something without information. You guys are awesome and I admire your passion for the people who may be in those situations!
